Nelson Caldwell has served as Controller of the Company since February 2011 and is responsible for all financial, legal, and human resource functions of the Company. Nelson was semi-retired from Fall 2001 to Winter 2010 part of which time he was Adjunct Instructor for Northwest Arkansas Community College facilitating classes in Accounting and Management to Corporate and Continuing Education students as well as corporate and production line audiences including Wal-Mart Stores, DaySpring Cards, Allen Canning, and Tyson Foods. From Summer 1997 to Fall 2001, Nelson was Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vice-President Finance, and Board of Directors Secretary managing all administrative, legal and financial activities of the NASDAQ-listed networking infrastructure company, Tut Systems, Inc., Pleasanton, California. He raised over $215 million in public and private equity funds including an IPO working with the largest investment banks, negotiating strategic partnerships with most large Silicon Valley high-tech companies, completed M&A for six subsidiaries and oversaw a major platform conversion. From Spring 1995 to Spring 1997, he was CFO and interim CEO for Telechips Corporation, Reno, Nevada. From Summer of 1989 to Spring of 1995, he was a Manager/C.P.A. with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, responsible for approximately 20% of the Sacramento, California office billings with broad experience in Telecommunications, Real-Estate, Oil and Gas, Medical Technology and Higher Education industries with enterprises varying in size from start-up to multinational. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration – Accounting from California State University, Chico in Spring 1989.
